Lydia Shamoun

Artistic Director/ Founder/Choreographer/Co- Film Director

Lydia Shamoun is the Founder and Artistic Director of New York City-based performance art company C-LS. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in May 2017. Her works have been featured in the New York Times, See Chicago Dance, Seattledances, The Stranger, and CityArts Magazine. Lydia’s works have been performed in venues across the United States, including Velocity Dance Center and The Center for Performance Research amongst many others. Her works have been presented by On the Boards, RawArtists, Spoke the Hub, and the Short Fringe at Fronterafest in Austin, TX. She was awarded the Director's Choice Award at Winter Follies Showcase in Brooklyn, NY. Lydia is the recipient of the Lillian Miller Education Foundation grant and has been a Guest Artist in Residence at Silo Kirkland Farm in Pennsylvania. She is currently in process of her next evening-length work, HELL.

Sierra Hendrix

Sierra Hendrix is a dance artist from Oregon and currently based in NYC. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in May 2017. She has performed the work of Babette DeLafayette Pendleton, Alice Gosti, and Kyle Abraham among others. She joined GALLIM Dance as an apprentice in 2020.   

Allison Burke

Performer/ Collaborator/Co-Film Director/Founding Member

Allison Burke is a performer currently based out of Chicago who practices multiple mediums as an artist. She has performed for artists such as Cherdonna Shinatra, Dayna Hanson, and Thunderpussy, as well as choreographing, filmmaking, and creating music for her own projects.

Madison Wada

Performer/Collaborator

Madison Wada is a performance artist born and raised in Lancaster California. After intense ballet training and living in New York for five years she’s accomplished a multitude of things- such as a professional contemporary career with Sidra Bell Dance New York, a project with ate9, and currently working with C-LS. She now remains freelancing as a dancer and a student of many artistic mediums to fulfill her inevitability of a performance artist as a whole entity.


Drew Lewis

Performer/Collaborator/Founding Member

Drew Lewis is a performer, choreographer and composer originally from Chicago, IL. He graduated magna cum laude from Cornish College of the Arts in 2016, where he was the Merce Cunningham Endowed Scholar. He toured extensively with Sidra Bell Dance New York from 2016-2019, and has performed with Lydia Shamoun’s C-LS, Project 44 and Attack Theatre. As a choreographer, he has participated in residencies at Skidmore College, The Pittsburgh Opera, OPRFHS, and New Trier High School. As a composer, he has created scores for projects by Sidra Bell, Kensaku Shinohara, Cesar Broderman and for the American Assembly’s We Be Imagining podcast and subsidiary Black Siren Radio via WKCR 89.9FM NY.
